We went to PEI with some friends this week (Tim and Marni, Chris and Jenn, Sean and April, and all the children. We left on Tuesday morning at 11:30am and arrived in PEI at 2:30pm, so we made good time. We were the last ones to get there, so when we arrived Phil and Lindsay were already down by the pool with the rest of the crew. Lindsay is due in November and looks great el prego.
We stayed at Highland Campground, which I highly recommend. I had a pool, a lodge complete with stove and microwave, and clean showers bathrooms and a laundry facility. Each cabin had a queen size bed, a set of bunkbeds, a futon and a table with bench seats. Outside there was a picnic table on a patio and a fire pit. This place was awesome and I highly recommend it.
After PEI, Tim, Marni, Duane and I, and of course the children, went to Anigonish. We met up with Peter, Krysta and their kidos. Duane, Tim and Peter went in a bike race. It was also Duane's 30th birthday so we had a party for him at the camp.
